Department of Security and Crime Management

The Department of Security and Crime Management is a new addition to the School of Social Sciences, Management & Tourism Technology at the International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (IITH), Yenagoa.

This department will provide students with a strong foundation in security operations, criminology, crime prevention, intelligence gathering, and modern security technologies, preparing them for careers in public safety, private security, law enforcement, and crime management.

The department will offer National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Security and Crime Management, accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
