EDTF Eulogizes Rector Leadership Style

It was an exciting moment when Members of the Education Development Trust Fund’s Monitoring and Evaluation Committee paid an appraisal to the International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The aim of the visit was to carry out effective monitoring on the successful procurement and installation of the 150KVA generating set donated to the Institute by the Education Development Trust Fund.

Receiving the delegation, the Rector, Prof. Apuega Arikawei thanked the EDTF for the gesture. He noted that the move has opened more doors of intervention from the series of requests made by management to relevant partners in the industry to equip the Institute.

Prof. Arikawei however promised to put it into profitable use.

Responding on behalf of the team, Hon. Tobias James who represented the chairman of the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, commended the Rector for the judicious utilization of funds to acquire the facility which he maintained that it will promote the training of manpower for the Tourism and Hospitality sector.

He further assured the Rector and the Institute Management of the EDTF’s continuous support.
