HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry requirements for National Diploma in Hospitality and Management Technology programme include atleast a minimum score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), five credit passes at not more than two sittings in West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE/NECO), National Technical Certificate (NTC), General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary level, the West African Examination Certificate (WAEC) in the following subjects. The subjects must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science and any two from the following: Geography, Economics,/Commerce, Food and Nutrition/Home Economics/Catering Craft/Tourism Studies, Marketing, Civic Education, Accounting, Chemistry and Physics (Details of Admission requirements are obtainable in the NBTE annual Directory of Accredited Programmes).
TOURISM MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for admission into the National Diploma in Public Administration, the candidate must meet any of the following entry requirements:
The West African Senior School Certificate (WASSC), General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary level, Senior School Certificate (SSC) or any other equivalent qualification with credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics; Commerce; Agricultural Science/Biology/Health Science; C.R.K/I.R.K; Home Economics/Home Management Business Studies Statistics, Civic Education; Photography; Fisheries.
COMPUTER SCIENCE
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) Credit Level Passes in GCE ‘0’ Level, Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), NECO ad NABTEB at not more than two sittings. To include:
English Language, Mathematics, Physics (* A “Pass” in Physics is Compulsory for Computer Sceince) and two other subjects from the following: Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science.
Any Relevant NTC/NBc & NVC Trades, Plus Jamb Examination – A resolved by the National Policy on Education.
A pass in Computer Foundation Examination (CFE) of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN)
The student must be Prima Facie Qualified as in (A) above.
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Four (4) credit passes in WASCE, GCE, “O” level or the Senior School Certificate (SSCE) or any other equivalent not more than two sittings, to include English Language, Mathematics and two other subjects from Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounting, Literature in English, Commerce, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agricultural Science/Biology.
A credit pass in NBTE recognized Pre-National Diploma Examination.
FASHION DESIGN & CLOTHING TECHNOLOGY
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for admission in the ND Fashion Design and Clothing Technology programme should possess the WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE O/L and nay other nationally recognized Examination body with five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects from the following: History/Government, Clothing and Textile, Biology, Fine Art, Technical Drawing.
ACCOUNTANCY
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have the following: English, Mathematics, and any of the following: Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agricultural Science and Biology.
DURATION
All programmes are designed to run for four semesters, i.e. two academic sessions.
DIRECT ENTRY
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
NATIONAL DIPLOMA
Applicants with the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the National Diploma programme by direct entry:
G.C.E. Ordinary level or its equivalent (Teachers Grade II, W.A.S.C, S.S.C.E.) with four credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other two subjects from the following: Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agricultural Science/Biology obtained at not more than two sittings, or
Four credit passes in relevant subjects as stated in (i) above obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized Preliminary ND Programme offered by the polytechnics and similar post-secondary technical institutions.
