TOURISM INSTITUTE GIVES ORIENTATION TO NATIONAL DIPLOMA STUDENTS
The International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State has given orientation to her second set of National Diploma Students. The Orientation Program took place at the Institute Auditorium.
Declaring it, the Rector of the Institute, Prof. Apuega .R. Arikawei welcomed the students to the Institute and encouraged them to be of good behavior as they follow the rules and guidelines governing the Institution and programmes they run.
He noted that the purpose of the orientation was to enlighten the students to be familiar with the rules and regulations of the Institute to enable them adjust to their various academic programs.
Prof. Arikawei warned them against violating in rules as those found wanting will face penalties.
Also speaking, the Registrar, Dr. Ovienadu Torutein Esq thanked the Rector for the way and manner he has piloted the affairs of the Institute and charged the students to do the best they can in order to succeed and justify the confidence reposed in them.
Highpoint of the event was an interactive session and tour of facilities.
